The rarest of the Gabbeh colors, green is sacred to the Qashqai people and involves a two-step dye process, yellow and blue. When we find greens, we grab them all. Green creates a sense of the outdoors being indoors and connects beautifully to foliage through windows. It's popular even here in Key West where it's green all year, but even more so in places where summer fades to winter.
