Sometimes the subtle designs are the most impressive––like this beautiful red-on-red example. On a background of deep, rich, Persian red, a second, lighter red (probably the second or third run of the same dye) adds texture with a graceful, blended checkerboard. Can you imagine the patience and discipline it takes to compose such a design? We consider it every day, marveling at the skill of the Qashqai.
