At first glance, the structure of this rug appears formal, with concentric rectangles and matched bands of turquoise, teal, and aquamarine. But, as Gabbehs often do, it incorporates a playful, organic element of tiny, bright red and yellow wildflowers scattered at random. It's as though someone made a wish and set them afloat.
