It's amazing how much a Gabbeh can say in just a few, short colors. Like red on red––Gabbehs can go on and on in simply red on red. Red textures within red textures. Red spirals within red solids. Even the appearance of red lace on red. You never knew red could express so much, or that a rug could. But it's all here, all hand-knotted, all soft, and all beautiful.
